About Me
I’m Justin Winokur, a photographer, storyteller, and artist with over 25 years of experience documenting people, places, and moments that matter. I hold an MBA from Santa Clara University, which gives me a unique edge when working with businesses to create images that drive results. Whether I’m photographing a chamber of commerce ribbon cutting or shooting a Star Wars-themed wedding in Oregon, my goal is always the same: show up fully, see what’s real, and make something beautiful out of it.
I’ve shot internationally (Egypt, India, Sweden, Denmark, Russia), made records with Swedish pop legends, and even got fired from Apple in 2003 for being one of the first people to share my life online (before the word “blog” existed). Everything I do is grounded in connection, creativity, and curiosity. I believe that showing up is an artform—and that’s what I bring to every project.
Pricing philosophy
I accept projects based on creative value, business potential, or sometimes just because they sound like fun. Want a discounted headshot because you’re coming to my house? Great. Want a luxury event photographed in three countries over five days? Also great.
Every shoot is different. Pricing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I don’t quote by the hour—I quote by the scope, goals, and impact of the project. Most shoots fall somewhere between $300–$500 per hour, but what matters most is what you need and how I can help you get it.
